“Take a wonderful trip to the Bahamas and enjoy the sweetest experience you can get”. I went there in 2013, this is my experience.
Take a trip to the Bahamas, it is probably the most developed vacation island in the Caribbean. Just as you land, the recording of fascinating experiences will start at the airport, various international airlines littered the tarmac, as some others circled the skies for landing instructions. Apparently, the airport was being upgraded to accommodate bigger jets because some form of construction had been in progress. You will be surprised to see such a spectacle at an airport right inside the immigration hall.
At the Nassau International Airport, Bahamas, a full-life calypso band entertains you as you wait for immigration protocol. The Bahamas is a little exotic Island that has taken tourism to another level. There are various cab drivers, who will take you around as your able and reliable tourist guide too. You might get a visit to one of the exclusive clubs there, especially if you are there for a frenzy and adventure.
The currency widely in use on the Island is no other currency but the American dollar, the same value as their local currency. In fact, all you need to do is to walk into any shop or hotel, present the dollar and receive change instantly, in either the Bahamas or the American dollar.
The island had experienced tremendous tourist site developments, which had both past and present, attracted an unprecedented, number of visitors. All these you can enjoy as you wait, to get allocated a room at the Wyndham Hotel.
The Hotel with 850 rooms remains very much equipped with state of art facilities to make you feel much at home. Internet bookings regularly over-shot the listings. During summer, it is always a spectacle to see, with the number of tourists from all over the world sunbathing. You will honestly think you were on another exotic beach on the coast of California. If you like to go on a lone adventure. The friendly indigenes are always ready to assist.
Dining on the island is pretty exotic too. Menu samplers in a typical café would include pieces of stuff like Junkanoo wings (Buffalo wings as it was called by the locals), the Bahamas spinach dip, loaded baked potatoes, and cornbread. My favorite pick, in the middle of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, was fish, lobsters, crabs, and prawns.
Most of the restaurants were categorized, as seafood sufficiently rich for rich visitors from all over the world. Amongst all these, the Island still boasted of all or a mixture of cultural cuisines to be found at the Luciano’s of Chicago, Mexico, and Restorante Villaggio Café for famous Italian cuisine. Also, not excluded was the existence of double season, for Chinese and Chez Willie Restaurant, for French cuisine with all these pleasures.
Buying and selling is a major activity, on a trip of this nature. Shopping is always an aspect of holidaying and there is always more than enough to buy on the exotic Island, these items range from Victoria’s Secrets items, and Fendi handbags to Mavado wristwatches, you just name it and you just have it all, as you are rich.
Other designer brands of watches available on the Island for sale and purchase include; Accurist, Amani, Baume et Mercier, Breitling, Cartier, Gucci, Guess, Micheal Kors, Lorus Chronograph, Panerai Automatic water resistance, 300 meters, Rolex, Raymond Weil, Seconda, Tag Heuer, and Tommy Hilfiger watches, among a host of other designer outfits that will catch your attention.
For the ladies, they had more than enough sexy, lingerie and diamond-studded apparel, the Victoria’s Secret. For casino lovers, the couple saw excitement too. The billion dollars plus Kerzner International’s phase three of the Atlantic Hotel existed and was indeed more than just another mega-resort. Millions of cruise ships and passengers spent their time slicing down spectacular water slides and taking in river rides through the huge mythic property.
Water sports activities readily existed at the sight there. You could take a highspeed sail, cruise the seas for a day, or even the thrills of sky gliding as the couple experienced. Underwater adventures such as scuba diving and deep-sea fishing were some other attractions too.
The view of the ocean with a series of cruise liners waiting to berth was a wonderful sight to see, and very exhilarating. The coral reefs were visible through the blue pacific water, forming patches resembling continents submerged underwater. For instance, there is this British Couple, who had for the last twelve years visited the Island at least, once a year for at least 28 days at each visit.
The 68year old woman and her 76year old husband, sounded very excited as they recounted how they were offered citizenship of Paradise. Even after several years of frequent visits. The province and Paradise Island combined had 26 beaches. The most alluring feature of the Island is its sparkling turquoise waters and power-white beaches stretching for miles.
Another wonderful sight on the Island is the Atlantis Hotel and Resort which can boast the largest underwater aquarium in any hotel in the world, which is a living reality. The Hotel and Resort also entertained guests who can throw out between $2000 and about $3000 dollars a night for special suites. The hotel had played host to an extended list of world leaders and their wives, as well as musicians, and entertainers, such as actors and actresses of the movie industry, sports stars, and all other rich couples and individuals.
Take your time out at the Jonny Canoe Café, to eat an exotic blend of traditional rice, and beans mixed with grilled chicken. You finished it up with a local brew; they refer to as “The Kalik.” It is always a sweet drink to remember in the Bahamas. These are definitely among the many attractions and enjoyments available, that await you there. Give it a try you will always be glad you did.
